“I would like to thank the entire staff of Summit Medical Group of Oak Ridge, TN. When I became a patient of Dr. Susan Taylor, I was a shut-in struggling with agoraphobia. I had become completely helpless. I had a giant list of ailments and was under the care of a less than thorough doctor. I had medications being thrown at me to mask the problems but no answers on fixing the problems.

THANK GOD I FOUND DOCTOR TAYLOR! She TRULY saved my life. Sadly, I’ve never told her this, but when I came to see her, I was at the end of my rope. I had decided if it didn’t get better in 30 days, I was going to end it all.

Without knowing this, she began IMMEDIATELY on assessing all of my ailments. One of these was chronic back pain. She sent me to specialists that worked on every facet of me. Where we had symptoms before, we found causes and therefore, solutions. Obviously, I made it past the 30 days but I knew 2 weeks in that she was key to my recovery.

I found out that the reason why my back had been killing me for 4 years was that my spine had been injured in 2 car accidents in 1996. Procedures were ordered to get me on my feet.

As for my agoraphobia, I’m out of the house daily… going to work as a pharmacy technician. I received assistance and the right combination of medications were found to work on the problem, not the symptom. Side note: I am no longer on any benzodiazepine for anxiety attacks. If you had asked me in 2000 if I would have been able to return to work, I would have said no and crumbled into a 10 day depression.

One of my favorite things about Doctor Taylor is that she uses traditional and non-traditional medicines and techniques to get you better. She will go to the moon and back for her patients, however you are required to pull your own weight.

I wish that more doctors would be as thorough and as caring as Doctor Taylor. She is an incredible asset to her organization, her profession and healthcare in general.
