Dr. Pamela Bridgeman, a native of Greensboro, NC, received her undergraduate degree in 1982 and her medical degree in 1986 from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at the Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte, NC in 1989. Dr. Bridgeman has been a member of the Oak Ridge community since 1989. She and her husband John, a retired Emergency Room RN, have four children–two sets of twins. Hobbies include sports activities with the children, swimming, walking, racquetball, piano, and church activities.

Dr. Michael Henderson is an internist with Summit Medical Group of Oak Ridge. A native of Knoxville, TN, he received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and his medical degree from East Tennessee State University in 2003. He has volunteer faculty status at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine. He enjoys internal medicine because of the complexity and diversity of cases it allows him to see and the relationships he is able to develop with his patients. Dr. Henderson enjoys partnering with patients to promote a healthy lifestyle. His hobbies include keeping up with his wife and four children, playing chess, hiking and Taekwondo.

A native of Limestone, TN, Dr. Hayes received his undergraduate degree from Tusculum College and his medical degree from the University of Tennessee, Memphis. He is board certified in Internal Medicine. He joined Summit Medical Group of Oak Ridge in 2008. He and his wife have four children. Dr. Hayes enjoys hiking, reading about ancient history and mentoring medical students in the practice.

Dr. Aaron Jones is a native of Powell, TN. He obtained his medical degree and graduated with honors from the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. He is a board certified family physician and completed his residency training through the ETSU Family residency in Bristol, TN. He served as Chief Resident his last year and was voted by the faculty as “Resident of the Year” and voted “Resident Teacher of the Year” by the upper level medical students. Prior to coming to Oak Ridge he and his family spent one year in Kenya working in a rural mission hospital. He and his wife Sonya have two daughters and one son. Dr. Jones enjoys spending time with his family, international travel, church activities and hiking.

Dr. Jason Eskew is a native of Cleveland, TN. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville in 2007 and a degree in osteopathic medicine from Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2012. He is board certified in Family Medicine and completed his residency at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida. His medical areas of interest include adolescent and adult preventative medicine, as well as geriatric care. Dr. Eskew lives in Knoxville with his wife and 2 children. He is a Tennessee football fan and enjoys reading, being outdoors and spending time with his family.

Dr. Niva Misra-Sammons graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and continued her education at East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine where she earned her medical degree in 2013. She served her residency at University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. She is a board-certified physician and a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Knoxville Academy of Medicine. Dr. Misra-Sammons resides in Farragut with her husband, Dr. Brandon Sammons, a physician at Summit Medical Group at Tellico Village. In her spare time she enjoys exercising at spin and barre classes and shopping. Dr. Misra-Sammons currently is accepting new patients.
Bridget Peterson, APN is a native of Knoxville, TN. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Lincoln Memorial University in 1992 and her Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Tennessee in 1994. Bridget has worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner, primarily in Family Practice settings, and taught in a nursing program. She has experience in hospital based programs and long term care settings. Bridget and her husband Tony have two children. Bridget enjoys family life and traveling on Mission trips to aid mothers and children in Mexico and Guatemala.
Claire is a native of Arkansas and received an undergraduate degree from Arkansas State University in 1991, her associate degree in Nursing from Roane State Community College in 1994, and her Master of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Tennessee in 1998. Her experience includes ER and ICU at Methodist Medical Center as an RN while pursuing her Master’s Degree. Claire has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 1998. She sees walk-in patients with acute conditions or patients with chronic conditions. She has two children and a Boxer dog named Rocky. Claire enjoys being with her family, going to soccer games, reading, and hiking in the mountains.
