Gina McNeer is a nurse practitioner at Summit Medical Group of Oak Ridge. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from East Tennessee State University and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Tennessee – Memphis. Gina specializes in acute care treatment and has several years of experience in patient care as well as in educating and training other nurses as a professor. In her free time, she enjoys watching football and vacationing at the beach.
James Hart, DO
Dr. James Hart is a proud graduate of Lincoln Memorial University Debusk College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he honed his skills and passion for medicine. His journey led him to complete his family medicine residency at UT Medical Center, where he became board certified with the American Board of Family Medicine and earned membership in the esteemed American Academy of Family Physicians.
For the past 6 years, Dr. Hart has dedicated himself to serving as a Hospitalist at UT Medical Center, providing top-notch care to patients in need. Now, he eagerly brings his expertise and commitment to Summit Medical Group of Oak Ridge, where he aims to maintain the highest standards of care for his patients.
Beyond his medical endeavors, Dr. Hart finds joy in his roles as a loving husband and father to two daughters. In his spare time, he indulges in his passions for reading, podcasts, and staying active through exercise.
Pamela Bridgeman, MD
Dr. Pamela Bridgeman, a native of Greensboro, NC, earned her undergraduate degree in 1982 and her medical degree in 1986 from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at the Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte, NC, in 1989. Since then, she has been an esteemed member of the Oak Ridge community. Married to John, a retired Emergency Room RN, they cherish their family of four children, including two sets of twins. Outside of medicine, Dr. Bridgeman enjoys watching sports, staying active with exercise, and playing the piano.
Niva Misra-Sammons, MD
Dr. Niva Misra-Sammons, a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, is a highly qualified physician dedicated to providing exceptional care. She embarked on her academic journey at the University of Tennessee, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in anthropology in 2009. Continuing her pursuit of knowledge, she attended East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine, graduating with a medical degree in 2013.
Dr. Misra-Sammons furthered her training through a residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, solidifying her expertise and commitment to patient well-being. As a board-certified physician and esteemed member of both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Knoxville Academy of Medicine, she upholds the highest standards of medical practice.
Residing in Farragut with her husband, Dr. Brandon Sammons, also a physician at Summit Medical Group at Tellico Village, Dr. Misra-Sammons finds joy in family life with their two sons. Committed to expanding her practice, she warmly welcomes new patients, offering her expertise and compassion to those in need of care.
Michael Henderson, MD
Dr. Henderson is a dedicated internist at Summit Medical Group of Oak Ridge. A native of Knoxville, he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee and completed his medical degree at East Tennessee State University in 2003.
With a passion for internal medicine, Dr. Henderson appreciates the field’s complexity and the opportunity it offers to engage deeply with a wide range of medical cases. He values the relationships he builds with his patients, striving to partner with them in promoting healthier lifestyles. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Henderson enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, playing chess, and exploring the outdoors through hiking.
Jason Eskew, DO
Dr. Jason Eskew, a Cleveland, TN native, pursued his passion for medicine by earning a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville in 2007, followed by a degree in osteopathic medicine from Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2012.
He is board-certified in Family Medicine and completed his residency at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida. Dr. Eskew’s medical interests focus on adolescent and adult preventive medicine, as well as geriatric care. Residing in Knoxville with his wife and three children, Dr. Eskew is an avid Tennessee football fan who enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and being with his family.
Sonali Deo, MD
Dr. Sonali Deo is a Family Medicine specialist at Summit Medical Group of Oak Ridge, board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She completed her medical education at Pravara Medical College and further honed her skills during her residency at East Tennessee State University. Dr. Deo also gained valuable experience through internships at Nair Hospital and VN Desai Hospital. Outside of her practice, she enjoys traveling both locally and internationally, spending quality time with her two sons, and dancing.
Robert Chalmers, DO
Dr. Robert Chalmers has joined Summit Medical Group of Oak Ridge as a resident family medicine physician and currently is accepting new patients.
Before joining Summit, Dr. Chalmers spent three years with the University of Tennessee Medical Center’s Graduate School of Medicine as a Resident Physician. He earned a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Whitworth University in 2010 and received his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine in 2017 from Des Moines University in Iowa. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Association of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.
Ashley Wainauski, PA-C
Ashley Wainauski, PA-C, completed her undergraduate education at the University of Tennessee and went on to attend Lincoln Memorial University for her physician assistant training. She is a member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Tennessee Academy of Physician Assistants.
Ashley thoroughly enjoys building relationships with her patients; diving in, active listening to her and working together to come up with answers and solutions. Outside of her professional life, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, taking care of her dogs, reading, and indulging in her passion for art.
Robert Karnes, FNP
Robert Karnes is a nurse practitioner at Summit Medical Group of Oak Ridge. He attended Tennessee Wesleyan University for his undergraduate studies and attained his master’s degree in nursing from Austin Peay University.
Robert enjoys taking care of patients with both acute and chronic conditions. In his free time, he likes spending time with his family, playing card games, engaging in outdoor activities, and trying different cuisines.

Tara Casey, FNP, works as a nurse practitioner here at Summit Medical Group of Oak Ridge. She earned her undergraduate degree from Northeast State Community College and went on to complete her Master’s in Nursing at East Tennessee State University.
Tara focuses on geriatric care, acute care and family practice. She enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients built on trust and confidence. Outside of her professional life, Tara enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two children, traveling, reading, and attending concerts.

Aaron Jones, DO
Dr. Aaron Jones, a proud native of Powell, TN, distinguishes himself as a compassionate and skilled family physician. Graduating with honors from the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA, he exemplifies academic excellence. Dr. Jones furthered his training through the ETSU Family residency in Bristol, TN, where he not only became board certified but also served as Chief Resident, earning the esteemed title of “Resident of the Year” as recognized by the faculty.
Dr. Jones’s dedication to serving others extends beyond borders, as evidenced by his impactful year in Kenya, where he worked in a rural mission hospital alongside his family. He and his wife, alongside their three children, form a tight-knit unit that finds joy in spending quality time together, engaging in international travel, participating in church activities, and exploring the great outdoors through hiking adventures. Dr. Jones’s approach to life and medicine reflects his commitment to community, family, and global health.
Melissa Brooker, FNP
Melissa Brooker, FNP is a compassionate nurse practitioner recognized for her dedication to patient care. Graduating with honors from Lincoln Memorial University, she specializes in primary care and internal medicine, earning the respect of colleagues and patients alike. Relocating to Knoxville from Augusta, Georgia, in 2014 with her husband and two dogs, Melissa has become an integral part of the healthcare community. Outside of work, she finds joy in traveling, cheering on the Braves baseball team, playing golf, and nurturing her garden.
Corrine Curry, FNP
Corinne Curry, FNP, originally from Knoxville, TN, embarked on a diverse career journey that blends military service and healthcare. Beginning her military tenure in 2001 as security forces, she transitioned to the medical unit after five years, serving as an enlisted medic while pursuing her education. Corinne earned her undergraduate degree in nursing from Lincoln Memorial University before advancing to King University for her graduate studies, culminating in a MSN-FNP in 2017.
Currently commissioned as a Lieutenant Colonel with the Air National Guard, Corinne brings 23 years of dedicated service to her role as a nurse practitioner. Despite her demanding professional commitments, she remains rooted in Knoxville, where she enjoys quality time with her two wonderful children, Cassidy and Chase, along with her cherished canine companions, Lucy and Dezi. Beyond her professional and familial responsibilities, Corinne finds joy in an active lifestyle, indulging in hobbies like traveling, running, hiking, and participating in a local kickball league.

Tori Hughes, APRN, is a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner specializing in Family Medicine, with a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Graduating from South College with a Master of Science in Nursing, Tori combines her knowledge with a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of her patients. She thrives in the world of patient education and strives to build strong, trusting relationships with patients and their families. Outside of the clinic, Tori enjoys diving into other worlds and realms through avid reading, learning new hobbies and spending time with her family and her dog.
Clarissa McCullar, FNP
Claire is a devoted Family Nurse Practitioner with 25 years of experience. She obtained her Master’s in Nursing from the University of Tennessee and honed her skills during 5 years in critical care and ER nursing before joining Summit Medical in Oak Ridge. Passionate about diabetic education, Claire warmly welcomes walk-in patients for acute or chronic conditions. Beyond her medical practice, Claire finds joy in hiking, mountain adventures, and cheering on UT alongside her husband Mike. As a proud parent of two UT graduates and a beloved Boxer named Bodie, Claire embodies a balanced life of professional excellence and personal fulfillment.
Wesley Hayes, MD
Dr. Wesley Hayes is an internal medicine specialist and a native of Limestone, TN. He earned his undergraduate degree from Tusculum College and his medical degree from the University of Tennessee, Memphis. Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Hayes joined Summit Medical Group of Oak Ridge in 2008.
Dr. Hayes is passionate about patient care and mentoring medical students in the practice of medicine. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, exploring ancient history through reading, and spending time with his wife and their four children.
Joel Hayes, PA-C
Joel W. Hayes, PA-C, is a native of west Tennessee with a B.S. from Freed-Hardeman University in 2007 and a Master’s of Medical Science in physician assistant studies from Lincoln Memorial University in 2013. With a background in primary care, urgent care, and emergency medicine, Joel brings diverse experience to his practice. Outside of work, he cherishes time with his wife Ashley, two daughters, and their dog Luna. An avid supporter of UT Vol sports, Joel also enjoys honing his skills as a home chef and exploring the outdoors.
